Edgewood and the Fight for Fair Schools: A Community Conversation on Education and Opportunity

In 1968, students at Edgewood High School walked out to protest unfair school conditions and call for better opportunities. Their actions sparked a movement that raised big questions about how Texas funds its public schools—questions that still matter today.

Join us for a Shared Table to reflect on this powerful history, hear personal stories, and talk about what education looks like in our communities now. Over a meal, we’ll come together as neighbors to listen, learn, and imagine a better future for all students.

Registration coming soon.
