Each neighborhood has its own personality and sometimes can feel like its own town.
Housing policies and practices in the late 1800s and early 1900s created pathways for separate neighborhoods to develop along the lines of race and wealth. While our city continues to develop, our neighborhoods tell us the story of where we’ve been and where we’re going.
